This Privacy Policy describes how Wandering Ghost LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the Walkabout Scorecard mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide the App's functionality:
- Account information: Your email address and username when you create an account.
- Profile information: An optional display name you provide.
- Match data: Courses played, hole-by-hole scores, match timestamps, and match participants.
- Social data: Friend connections between accounts, established when users mutually agree to connect.
We do not collect precise location data, access your camera or contacts, use advertising identifiers, or track your activity outside of the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve the App:
- To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
- To store and display your match history, scores, and statistics.
- To enable friend features such as username search, friend requests, and head-to-head records.
- To respond to your support requests or inquiries.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, a third-party cloud database and authentication provider, on servers protected by industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption and row-level security policies. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Please use a strong, unique password and do not share your credentials with others.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
- Supabase — database storage and user authentication. Supabase processes data on our behalf and is subject to its own privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics tracking services, or social media tracking pixels.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Please note that deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All match history, scores, and friend connections associated with your account will be permanently removed.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, please contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information in your account.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
